USB Miner

Today I am introducing a USB ASIC Miner.

There are so many ways for us to mine the coin. E.X. Using with CPU, GPU, Specific Devices…etc

The full name of ASIC isApplication-specific integrated circuit

Which means ASIC is designed for special computing not only for mining.

The computing speed of ASICs usually faster than CPUs, GPUs…

Here is the mining device I got from internet.

Computing Speed is 333000KHash/s (also 2.5watt per hour)

Just took a little searching about ICs on the board

Unfortunately only T2313A’s data returns nothing…

After reviewing the hardware we start on software settings then.

We need install the Driver of CP2102 first

(Some of computers will install the driver automatically)

After all, we are going to the topic.

First we need set up the connection between USB Miner and computer.

Download and Open “Zadig”&“Cgminer”

(“Zadig” for Device Driver and “Cgminer” for mining)
http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/

Start “Zadig” , click “Option” and choose “List all devices”
then we can choose CP2102 from the list
Click “Replace Driver” and wait a few seconds.

Done if it returns “SUCCESS” message in bellow

Then we start mining
(If you don’t have a pool account here is an option)
https://bitminter.com/

Extract cgminer zip file and start cgminer.exe
Then the task will need you to input the pool address and your account & password

Once you finish you will see the miner start mining

For reducing the launching time of cgminer.exe

We can use CMD with following command :

cgminer-nogpu.exe –o http:// [PoolAddress]:[Port] -u [Account Name] -p [Password]  –icarus-options 115200:1:1 –icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S COM[X]    (X=The COM of your USB Miner)
Save it to file.bat
